Janet obtained LL.B. (Hons.) and BA in Human Rights from Kingston University, London, United Kingdom, and the University of Winnipeg, Manitoba, respectively. Janet was called to the Bar of England and Wales and Sierra Leone.

Prior to joining Andrew Law Office as an articling student, Janet gained valuable experience working in various law firms and governmental institutions in Sierra Leone and the United Kingdom. Janet assists clients in resolving intricate and demanding legal issues. She is client-oriented and maintains a robust level of communication with clients. She incorporates clients’ expectations, concerns, values, and feedback into her work.

Outside the law, Janet is a strong advocate for the less privileged in her community, going above and beyond to make a positive impact. Through various educational, health, and leadership initiatives, she dedicates herself to supporting and empowering children in Canada and Sierra Leone. Her organization, Inspire. Educate. Empower (INEDEM), plays a crucial role in making a positive impact on the lives of these children.

In her spare time, Janet enjoys power walks, travelling, reading novels, and spending time with family and friends. Janet also loves restaurant hopping and participating in the cultural festivities that the city offers.
